Walsingham is a village near Norwich where Lady Richeldis had a Marian apparition (a visitation by Mary). Lady Richeldis was shown the house in Nazareth where Jesus had lived as a child. She built a Holy House in Walsingham which became a shrine and place of pilgrimage.
