Madonna (Notre Dame Cathedral) Static Window Cling

This representation of Our Lady and Jesus is very ancient indeed and lies at the very heart of the wonderful West Rose Window. This particular image of Mary and Jesus is the iconic image of Notre Dame Cathedral. Jesus looks a little strange to modern eyes, but often in medieval art he was represented as a small version of an adult rather than as a baby, presumably to show that he exhibited maturity and experience even as an infant.

This design is exclusive to Notre Dame and is available from their gift shop.
